Who?
Anyone who is or will be enrolled in BSU classes for the Fall 2009 and/or Spring 2010 semesters is eligible to apply for a Peer Scholarship.
What?
First year Peers receive a scholarship of $50 per semester while second (and subsequent) year Peers receive $75 per semester. Peers earn and maintain their scholarships by contributing service and committing to study throughout the semester.
Service - Service generally consists of helping to organize LSF activities, attending LSF activities and building relationships with other students.
Study - Study includes bible study and the book discussion group. (Once a month, Peers meet to discuss relatively short reading assignments that are relevant to Christian college students. For the Fall semester of 2009, we are reading God At Work by Gene Edward Veith).
When?
Apply as soon as possible. There are only a couple spots left for the Spring 2010 semester.
Why?
Participating in Peers will provide you with an opportunity to serve fellow students and advise LSF on how we can better serve the BSU community.
How?
The application is remarkably short and simple! E-mail Dcs. Mitchell a request for an application. deaconessmitchell@gmail.com
